Every year on Christmas Eve, the Millington Lions Club lines town streets with hundreds of luminaries to create landing lights for Santa Claus. Each year there are more luminaries, so, we are asking for volunteers to help light the candles. Want to help? Just show up 5 pm 24 Dec at Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St. You don't have to be a Lion to help, you just have to believe in Christmas! Come help light up the town! It also helps if residents collect the spent luminaries on Christmas Day and gather them at the end of the street. Lions will pick them up.
We annually donate $1000 to the Leader Dogs for the Blind.
The Millington MD Lions Club adopted "Dawg" in 2019 and "Lucky" in 2021, for $500 each,
for kennel maintenance & puppy training. The Leader Dog is paired with their new owner, who receives their new dog and individual training, all free of charge.
This contribution makes possible a safe & independent life for both Leader Dog and Owner.
Millington Lions Club members annually prepare and maintain Lions Field,

We annually donate thousands of dollars to the Community Fire Company of Millington MD

The week before Christmas, the Millington Lions invite children who need help getting presents for their family members. Lions donate small gifts suitable for parents and siblings and help the children make selections and wrap the presents. Children also have fun making simple crafts to take home.
